Emply Nester

We have a lot of older couples in our ward that their kids have all moved out and they are called the empty nesters. Today I felt like one of those empty nesters. We have had so much family around this summer that going home to an empty house It was a little melancholy today. We had a great time with Dev and hopefully created a few fun memories and experiences for him. Thanks for staying Dev.

Haha why are you thanking me? Thank you for housing me, taking me to the movies, driving me around, feeding me, taking me out to eat, laughing at my dumb jokes, helping me pick out a slick ihome, lifting me up, giving me some cool pick-up lines, giving me a fresh outlook on life, and everything else we did. Oh and did I mention the food was amazing, especially now that I'm making my PB&J for tomorrow. Thanks again, and yes there were definitely some great memories created. AKA screaming at the awards ceremony, biking half a mile, and getting rained out of a painting project, and many more...
PS Cafe Rio was terrific!

Your nest may be empty, but you are filling other people's nests with a little extra warmth and comfort all the time. We love you. Thanks for the cinnamon rolls, the kids had them for Breakfast this morning.

I love your posts. That sounded like so much fun with Devin. I wish we lived closer and could have gone to the rodeo with you guys. The rodeo at the state fair we went to together was a blast.
