Concrete

Keiton is pointing at things he wants
He also has a habit of crossing his little ankles

Brielle is trying to jump
she waves and says hi to people as they go by
blue sand, Brielle is very clean and causes about it.

I tried my first dabble at concrete and am excited about it's potential. I still need a lot of work but I think I can make some really neat counter tops with it.

We are also working on are garden.

Understanding

Brielle is really into shoes these days and when asked to go find them she will. The other day I told her to go find her shoes totally not expecting that she would. She takes off and comes back with one of her shoes from her room. I tell her she needs two shoes and to find the other one. She takes off and finds this one in the living room and brings it to me.

She has been bringing me my shoes and daddy's shoes and trying them on.

Today I told her to go get her shoes so we can go play outside and she comes back with her shoes on.
They are slip on crocs but still amazing.

Keiton is starting to let go while holding on to something standing and stand for a few sec before dropping to a craw.

 Tippy Toes
Results of trying to keep a happy kid on a shopping outing.
We decided to use the money for the kids Birthday from great Grandma and Grandpa Harrison to get this little upholstered chair. Brielle was soooo excited when we pulled it out of the box.

Keiton likes to cross his little feet
 Sweeping
I was sewing and came out to find this mess from the two of them
Crazy hair. Keiton needs his first hair cut but I just can't bring myself to it yet. Maybe for his first birthday.

Kindness

Kindness tree,
someday it will look like this :)

I was in the market for a tree for my front yard. I had cut down a scrub oak and had the roots ground. Sabina had told me about a unique tree that she had spent several years trying to find one. I was at the local nursery (one that Sabina visited frequently) and ran into a guy and asked if they had this tree (lavender twist, It is a contorted weeping red bud that never get much taller then five feet.) To my surprise he had one and at a price I totally could afford. I had looked at a bunch of places on line and they were either tinny or all told out. My problem was I didn't have my roots ground yet and couldn't seem to get a hold of the stomp grinder guy. So I had to place to put this tree yet. This guy at the nursery said he could put it on hold for me for two days. I was so excited so he took my name and said he would take care of it. The next day I got my stump ground and was so excited to put this tree in. So on Saturday the day I needed to pick up by tree that was on hold Sabina and I went to the nursery to get the tree and some other plants for my new bed. We get there and pick out all our plants for the bed and we are about ready to go check out and this same guy runs into us and we get talking and he remembers Sabina. Anyway it comes out the he forgot to put the tree on hold and he had sold it to someone else. I was so heart broken. He went to check if he could get a hold of one. He came back and told me he felt so bad for messing up and would personally find one for me and bring it to my house on Wed. Wed comes and I haven't heard anything from him and all of the sudden he drives up with this beautiful tree sticking out of his truck. We left it over to its spot and it is twice the tree of the one I had on hold. He tells my to look at the tag and its twice the price which I was still ok with. Then he hands me the receipt for what he paid because he got it on wholesale. which was $40 cheaper and I thought great I give him $15 more then he paided as a thank you for hand delivering it to my house which still was saving me quite a bit. He told me he couldn't take that much and was so sorry he had made the mistake and not gotten the tree on hold for me and wished me a happy mothers day and gave me $25 dollars back. So he ended up giving me the tree for $5 less then he bought it for and he had to drive like 30 min to pick it up and he hand delivered it to my house. So know every time I look at that tree I will think of his kindness and try to think of a way I can share that kindness with someone else.

My kindness tree seems really happy and it putting out lots of new leaves everyday.
