Keiton

Keiton has developed sooo much this week

*cutting in his first tooth
* crawling more on hands and knees
* learned to go from a crawl to a sitting position
* learned to pull himself to standing

That's quite a bit all in one week.

Brielle loves her daddy so much she cries every time he leaves for work in the morning or at lunch time. She can be continent in his arms for an hour will he talks to a client on the phone. She is just happy to be in his arms and close to him. It is really sweet.

March Madness

Keiton is still slithering but he is starting to pull himself up on things which is progress and I found him sitting today. So he went from crawling to a sit position which is a first. Also he gave me a scare the other day. I found him one step from the top of the stairs so he had gone down one. He would have gotten really hurt Had I not found him before he tumbled because our stairs are really steep and the opening at the bottom is not very big so he would have likely rolled all the way down and hit the wall at the bottom. Needless to stay I have jimmy rigged a safer railing and a gate.

Dave being a good sport and helping me with our kitchen redo. He likes his new tool. It scares me.

 climbing into things is Brielle's new thing. She is starting to really communicate what she wants and is trying to say words. Dave swears she said night night to him tonight. I also think she trys to say please and drink. She continues to be our happy observant little girl.

Keiton has discovered how to clap and he is really enjoying the activity.

He is making small amounts of progress on his crawling. A few time this week he got up on his hands and knees and move each hand once and each knee once.

Something interesting that I have observed about Keiton is hes aware of light or the absence of it. He often can be found slapping his hand against a shadow on the wall or a sun ray streaking across the floor.

He is also starting to shake his head from side to side as well as through his head back and look at the ceiling.

Starting to pull himself up on things a little and starting to really want to pull himself up on things.

Brielle is pointing at everything as if she wants to know its name.

If you ask her to do something like get a diaper or find her soaks or go find Keiton she often will.

She continues to amaze us with her dexterity and has become quite found of putting the cap on and off of my chap-stick tube. 

He also loves to stand up in her high chair and turn the light on and off a million times.

She gets that shampoo goes on your hair.
